While
painting illusions of three-dimensionality I got involved in the effects
of the real and the represented. My paintings then turned into 3D objects
to better represent my ideas mixed with the traditional illusion of the
perspective representation.
I love to challenge the flat space of the canvas and still keep the tradition of the medium. The tradition involves canvas, color, frames hung on a wall-- and most of all, ideas, stories, politics, people.
